Belden IBDN Certification
Provides the assurance that present and future applications, specific to the category of cabling used, will work for the lifetime of the cabling system, when the system is installed and maintained in accordance with Application, User and Design guidelines, and meets the certification guidelines. Certification also provides a 25 year product warranty for the passive components used in the cabling system.

ASIS International (ASIS)
ASIS International (ASIS) is the largest organization for security professionals, with more than 36,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. CPP (Certified Protection Professional)
The CPP designation is an internationally accepted certification. It is evidence of an independent assessment of one’s professional abilities in security management.

PSP (Physical Security Professional)
Technical designation awarded to those individuals who have demonstrated in-depth operational knowledge and competence in this area, and whose primary responsibilities are to conduct physical security surveys, design integrated security systems, or install, operate and/or maintain those systems.

Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI)
Established in 1974 as a non-profit association of telecommunications professionals, BICSI offers educational conferences, technical seminars and publications to assist members in keeping up with, and ahead of fast changing developments in the industry. The primary objective of BICSI is promoting excellence and continuing education in economical, efficient, flexible and safe distribution of telecommunications, data and other low voltage services in commercial, campus and multi-family buildings.

Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
BICSI awards the professional designation of Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) to those individuals who have at least 2 years’ experience in the industry and successfully sit for a rigorous examination which thoroughly tests their knowledge of all aspects of communications design practices. And because the industry is rapidly changing, RCDDs must constantly upgrade their skills and keep abreast of current industry practices by attending a proscribed number of class hours each year to keep their designation. Emergency First Aid + Heartsaver
Technicians have been trained in the Emergency First Aid + Heartsaver course by St. John’s Ambulance. This course deals with all immediate life threatening injuries including components of CPR as well as shock, severe bleeding, and introduction into secondary surveys.
